Good morning, readers! I started the month off strong with a few Short Stories for #ShortStorySeptember… but after that my reading became out of a whack. I was so busy this month with going back to work and getting set up and ready for our camping trips. Thank goodness audiobooks are a thing!

Good morning, readers! August is always a busy month for my family and I, and my reading always reflects that. I did read 9 books, but most of them were shorter in length.
My best read this month was You Killed Me First by John Marrs. I didn’t want to stop reading, all the main characters were great and I wanted to see how everything played out.
My worst read book this month was The Rich Guy’s Wife by Bonnie Traymore. The story had potential but just didn’t hit for me.

I was so busy getting everything ready for my daughter graduation high school so I was absolutely not in a reading mood! Once graduation stuff was over I did a mini vacation to my parents house in North Carolina and my reading picked back up.

Good morning, readers! My reading is going to be all over the place until the summer. Spring time with a Senior in high school is absolutely crazyness! I finished nine books, mostly audiobooks this month, but I am happy with getting a good amount of listening done.
My first five star read of the year happened this month. The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides was awesome and completely had a hold of me! I did not see the ending coming, which is a huge plus for me.

I saw Everyone Here Is Lying by Shari Lapena while browsing through my library. I ended up not grabbing it off the shelf, but instead decided to borrow the audiobook through Libby. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had borrowed The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson from the library. I fully immersed myself (eBook from Libby, physical book and audiobook from Hoopla), but mostly read the eBook. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
A friend recommended I read The Affair by N.A. Cooper, so I borrowed the audiobook from Hoopla. ⭐⭐⭐
The Best of Friends by Lucinda Berry I found on Amazon and used my No-Rush Rewards to pay for the entire price of the book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I wanted to start reading the Eddie Flynn series, so I started with The Defense, the first book in the series, from Hoopla. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
