Good morning, readers! August is always a busy month for my family and I, and my reading always reflects that. I did read 9 books, but most of them were shorter in length.

My best read this month was You Killed Me First by John Marrs. I didn’t want to stop reading, all the main characters were great and I wanted to see how everything played out.
My worst read book this month was The Rich Guy’s Wife by Bonnie Traymore. The story had potential but just didn’t hit for me.

Sounds like a great month especially if you were busy!
My top book from August was The Way It Should Be by Christina Suzann Nelson. I had two super disappointing books, but quite a bit that were not as good as I thought they were going to be. It looks like you had a good reading month, despite being busy. Here is my August wrap-up, if you are interested: https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2026/08/august-reading-wrap-up-2026.html
