I spent all week getting everything set and ready for my daughter going back to college. Yesterday we dropped her off at her dorm and helped her set up the place. I pray she has a great school year!

The kids and I made a spur of the moment trip to the boardwalk on Wednesday night, just to get out and get some fresh air and sunshine. We love spending time at OCNJ!

I randomly started The Last Morning on my Kindle (a First Reads backlog). I forgot what the premise of the book is so I am flying blind.
I am halfway through One Of The Family. Should be done with this one early in the week.
I borrowed The Cuckoo’s Calling from the library. I made some progress this past week, but not too much, since I’ve been so busy. I’m enjoying this story a lot and hope to have more time this upcoming week to put a big dent in this one.

Final Check In: 20 Books of Summer 26 #20BOS26
My Birthday
The Sunday Salon / The Sunday Post #57

My kids go back to school the first week of September. I can’t believe how fast the summer went.
I’ve only read one book by James Patterson, “1st to Die.” I actually just obtained a copy of book two in the series. I’m looking forward to reading it.
I have a Kindle story to share. My Kindle is over 10 years old. I tried to put a new book on it a couple of days ago, and it won’t load. Apparently, my Kindle is so old that it is no longer supported. I was upset about this because the Kindle itself works just fine.
Anyway, great post; thanks for sharing.

The Women’s Murder Club series is a very popular one in the Patterson world. A lot of used book stores or like a Good Will type store have a ton of his books available lol.
And I did hear that the older Kindles were getting phased out, which is SUCH a shame, because if it’s not broke why fix it, ya know? I have a paperwhite my husband bought for me as a birthday gift a few years ago, but who knows when that one will become obsolete?
Thanks for popping by my blog!
I feel your concern! Leaving Ethan at university that first year was a wrench, so sending best wishes for your daughter for the year. I hope the coming week is a good one.
Some nice activities this week. They grow so fast.

They really do grow up so fast!
It’s great that you got to spend some fun time with your kids before your daughter returned to school. I hope she has a great school year. One of the Family looks a little scary.
I hope your daughter has a wonderful year at school. It’s always tough to drop them off and say goodbye.
