I really enjoyed this quick, twisty read! Lisa Unger manages to pack so much tension and emotion into such a short story. It has that perfect mix of suspense and dark humor that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The characters feel like real people, the pacing is on point, and the ending totally sticks with you. It’s a fast, satisfying thriller that shows just how good Unger is at what she does.
