Here is how it’s going after two months of doing this challenge:

Looks like some great progress.
But wouldn’t Haunting in the Arctic be for spirit rather than shifter? Or maybe at a pinch merfolk if tapping into the myth of selfies?
I had it under merfolk but then because of their seal-like skin I thought maybe it was something different. Google searches said Selkies are shape shifting creatures. You learn something new everyday
I guess I was thinking that the book didn’t have selkies in it. There was the myth of them but she didn’t really turn into one. It was her vengeful spirit instead, which is why I wondered if that would be it. But i can see why you picked shifter 🙂.
What did you think of the book? It was one of my biggest disappointments last year, if not the biggest. Enough that I refuse to read any more by the author as she seemed to throw away all sense to have her reveal. It didn’t work for me and was also impossible for earlier things to be in the story for her explanation to fit.
It was just alright to me. I read The Nesting at the beginning of the year and this was me giving the author a second chance. I will not be reading anymore of her work.
